Feel it. It makes you strong. Feel it. It makes you strong.

Feel it. It makes you strong. Feel it. It makes you strong.

Well don’t you feel it?

I take things as they come. Come on.

Who’s in charge? Is Canada going to be in charge of its borders, or is any Tom, Dick or Harry that can buy the plane fare or bus fare going to be in charge of the borders? And I think we should be in charge.

You tell me now that you’re going to go to Canada because you want to upgrade and because you want to study computers. I’ll tell you honestly, very honestly, I don’t believe you.

Yes, Sir, but-

And that’s what I think. The new employment that you’re going to find in Canada. I don’t know what you’re going to find in Canada. Meaning that, I’m not sure that you know what you’re going to find in Canada. ‘Cause you know nothing about Canada. I would not invest anything if I were you. You will not be going to Canada.

Sir, I really wanted to go to Canada.

I understand that. I have no problem understanding that you want to go to Canada. As to whether or not you meet our criteria, our requirements, this I’m not convinced and I have to be convinced.

Silly isn’t it? I feel frightened. As if we’re about to interfere with something that is best left alone.

My role is to help select good people, however you wish to define that, for Canada. And my role is also to keep the rascals out to the extent that we can. And there are a lot of rascals out here. And I’ve always had the view that we produce enough of our own, we don’t need to import any more.

Now you won’t feel a thing, I promise you.

We often say well if this person moves in next door to my mom, what’s she going to think about them? Because immigration is a national policy, but the end results are things that happen in neighbourhoods.

I’ve got him, ma, I’ve got him, mother.
Be careful, don’t hurt him… slowly.

He’s very very bright, a remarkable man under any circumstances. But it doesn’t necessarily mean that we want him in Canada. I would rather he got that sharp edge off him before we thought too much about introducing him into our society.

Shh, shh. It’s alright Buddy. Shh, shh, shh. It’s alright.
You’ve just walked in the front door.

I’ve tried and tried but everytime I try it just seems to fall apart. It’s not fair. I just don’t know why I have to suffer so much.

Sometimes even though you do everything right, the situation still goes sour. Then you have to think about your personal safety.
